Bevan Powell is the Chair of the Metropolitan Black Police Association and Director of the Association’s ground breaking
Youth and Community Engagement programme ‘VOYAGE’ (Voice of Youth And Genuine Empowerment). He believes
strongly in building capacity of young people so that they are able to make sensible and informed choices.

The NBPA Vision

The National Black Police Association (NBPA) will work in the interests of the UK police services and be an integral partner to ensure equitable service for all, and for the Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) staff who we represent.
We will also advocate the needs and expectations of BME communities by delivering and supporting strategies and initiatives which have a positive impact on all.
